Have you ever felt like you could do more to enrich your pup's life but just didn't have the time? That's exactly how the idea for No Bored Dogs came about. It all started over dinner with a family friend who expressed her guilt about not being able to provide enough mental stimulation for her pup. As a fellow dog parent who spends a lot of time on my dog's enrichment, this really struck a chord with me.

Listening to my friend talk about feeling like a "bad dog mom" got me thinking. First, she totally isn't a "bad dog mom", just a busy one. I realized that there must be so many other pet parents out there who are in the same boat. That's when the lightbulb went off - why not create a service that helps busy dog parents like us provide the enrichment our pups need?

Introducing Cherry - No Bored Dog's Inspiration (and official Brand Ambassador)

When we added Cherry to the family, I was faced with the same dilemma. Working from home meant that I was pretty busy, and I wanted to make sure she was happy and fulfilled. I searched high and low for a business that could help me out, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I'm grateful that I'm able to prep enough enrichment activities to keep her occupied throughout the week, but I know not all of us have that much time - especially during puppyhood or those fresh first months after adopting a dog. In truth, there are often days where I wish I could be a customer of No Bored Dogs!

What Do We Offer?

At No Bored Dogs, we offer two primary services. First, we offer the Puzzle Swap Club for dog parents who want to introduce their dogs to brand new puzzle toys but don't want to clutter their house. Your dog will receive a new rotation of brain busters every month, keeping things new and fresh. By swapping out puzzle games instead of buying more and more, you'll save money and space in your closet. 

Second, we have the Brainbuster Storefront, making No Bored Dogs your one-stop shop and go-to small business for enrichment toys. These are one-time purchases, unlike the Puzzle Swap Club, allowing you to select the perfect toys to keep your dog mentally engaged without the need for a subscription.

As you might notice on our website, we're also in the works of bringing another enrichment service to Mid-Michigan with the goal to expand nationwide. 

We'll also be keeping an active presence on social media and sharing tips, tricks, and recipes in our blog! Make sure you're subscribed to all of our social channels to keep up with the latest updates! Your dog doesn't want you to miss out - trust us. 

Where We Want to be Heading

We're a big proponent of a growth mindset and setting strong goals for ourselves and our work. We’re excited about the future of No Bored Dogs and have big plans to expand our services and reach more dogs and dog parents locally and across the country.
